West Nile Virus

This virus has gotten its name from the area that it was first found. The mosquitoes in the area surrounding the West Nile are commonly infected with bacteria and carry various viruses. The West Nile Virus is not as common in the US but has been found in some states. The virus affects humans but can also infect pets and animals too. Some people don’t show any symptoms at all but when they do it is usually the same symptoms you would have if you had the flu.
